The company operates under Abhijnana Food Products Private Limited, which was incorporated in July 2024 and registered with the Registrar of Companies (RoC), Bangalore.
Located in Narimogru, Puttur, in the Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka, the company draws inspiration from the region’s rich agricultural heritage and traditional food knowledge.

Headquartered in the heart of Puttur, we are a premier manufacturer and consultant specializing in Traditional Health Foods. Since 2015, we have been on a dedicated mission to revitalize ancient grains and bridge the gap between today’s fast-paced life and our rich South Kannada culinary heritage.

Mr.Radhakrishna Ittigundi
About Chairman
Radhakrishna (Ittigundi) is an entrepreneur and food innovator from Chokkadi, currently based in Narimogaru Mukve, Puttur, in Dakshina Kannada district, Karnataka. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and has also pursued M.A. in Journalism from KSOU.
He began his professional career in 1996 as a Sales Engineer in a private company in Bengaluru. With dedication and strong leadership skills, he later advanced to the role of Area Sales Manager in an international company, which provided him opportunities to travel abroad for business engagements in countries such as Singapore, Bangkok, and Sri Lanka.
In 2015, he left his corporate career and started his own venture, Nitya Food Products, at Narimogaru Mukve near Puttur. Under the “Nitya” brand, he first introduced chapati products to the markets of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts. With growing demand and customer trust, the company expanded into producing a wide range of value-added food products, including millet-based foods, ragi cookies, jackfruit seed products, chapati mixes, dosa mixes, and healthy drinks. Today, the brand offers around 36 varieties of nutritious food products and has earned strong customer appreciation.
Starting with just four employees, the company has grown steadily and now provides employment opportunities to over 45 local people. To ensure quality and innovation, the enterprise has adopted food processing technologies and training from reputed institutions such as CFTRI Mysuru, DCR Puttur and IIHR Bengaluru.
In 2019, Radhakrishna also received training from IIHR in mushroom cultivation and has since conducted training programs and workshops across the district, helping many aspiring entrepreneurs and farmers learn mushroom farming and value-added food production. Through these initiatives, he actively promotes self-employment and rural entrepreneurship.
His contributions to food processing, entrepreneurship, and community development have been widely recognized through several prestigious awards.

Our team is a dedicated group of over 45 passionate individuals, primarily composed of local rural women from the Puttur and Dakshina Kannada region, who serve as the backbone of our production and quality assurance. This skilled workforce combines traditional culinary wisdom with modern processing techniques within our 2,000 sq. ft. facility, ensuring that every batch of our Millet and Jackfruit products maintains a “home-made” authentic taste. Supported by a robust distribution network of over 500 retailers, our team works in harmony with prestigious scientific consultants from IIHR, DFRL, DCR and CFTRI to deliver “crystal clear” purity in every packet. As we scale toward our goal of reaching 2,500 retail locations, we remain committed to fostering a culture of rural empowerment, where our staff is not just manufacturing food, but actively preserving the nutritional heritage of Coastal Karnataka for future generations.
